THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL - MLP G5 Fan Animation
Opaline longed to be as powerful as Celestia, believing fire to be the most worthy element, the true light that guides the way. But her ambition led her down a darker path, transforming her into the most malevolent villain. Once, darkness had consumed her, but light had found her and shown her the way. When Twilight confronted her, Opaline nearly succeeded in her malevolent plans. Yet, in the end, it was the light that consumed her, extinguishing her darkness forever.

In the show she tries to take the cutiemarks of all the other ponies using her friendship tree but it backfires and takes her cutiemark from her and traps her inside the tree instead

I have the impression that I understood the video I believe that Opaline was rejected by Celestia and Luna so Opaline is avenged by Twilight but on the other hand the three crystals that Twilight found and it's like that's what apaline has that cutie mark and yet another thing I believe that Twilight's spirit is in the three crystals and that's why we see her in the g5 of my Little pony
